Rack Size

Probably the most logical place to start is your server racks. You’ll want to make sure you get enough racks now to house all of your present equipment as well as your future equipment. Basically, if you ever plan on expanding in the future (and you surely will), you’ll need the extra space right now. Plan enough space in your room to move your servers in and out and maneuver them around. Ensure that you have enough room between equipment for safety purposes as well. And when you install them, follow the instructions carefully so that you’ll have less probably in the future.
